LapsedArticle 4 makes individuals with net wealth of USD 1 million or more on 1 January 2016 pay a contribution of 0.90% once, on assets in and outside Ecuador for residents and in Ecuador for non-residents, with an exemption for those directly damaged by the earthquake.
